Happy Thursday! Let’s get right into it this week… Live Longer Turn down the noise pollution Through the lens of evolution, loud noises signalled danger. A bear growling, thunder and lightning crashing down, strong winds and stormy rain, or rocks tumbling down the side of a mountain. Other than the noise from potentially harmful events, our environment was relatively silent.
This is interesting, Jack! Do you think the trend of moving from cities to the suburbs, as a result of Covid, will continue? Or will people begin going back to noisy cities?
Thank you! That’s a great question. My uneducated guess is that cities aren’t going anywhere.
They have far too much convenience, opportunity, and proximity. Part of me would love to move to a cabin in the woods but that means I’m moving away from family, have no easy access to grocery stores, less work opportunities, and fewer amenities (gyms, movie theatres, banks, shows, sports…).
